After a much talked about engagement, everyone was shocked when Vivek and Gurpreet decided to call it quits. While Vivek was too hurt to speak out, Gurpreet too kept her silence – until now. Apparently, the lady has now set the record straight and claimed that they just grew apart. She is even reported to have said that the reason she decided to end the relationship is because she did not want to compromise on basic moral values – which is bound to result in rumour mongers having a field day speculating about the relationship.

Especially since there have been rumours galore about Vivek and well known actresses like Aishwarya and Rani. Vivek himself is simply astounded that he can even be linked to his close friends – for that's just what they are, he insists. Meanwhile, he's concentrating on his career, what with ‘Dum' all set to release on the 24th of January. Gurpreet too claims she has moved on. Now let's hope the rumour mongers leave them alone!
